Learn How to Utilize Your Social Media Tools

mRELEVANCE, LLC recently developed a successful Pinterest campaign for one of its real estate clients, Keystone Custom Homes. The campaign, called the Pin-N-Win Sweepstakes, helped the builder stimulate sharing and interaction on the popular social media site throughout the entire month of June.

In fact, the sweepstakes had 128 entries, 292 followers on the contest board and 209 new overall followers to the Keystone Custom Homes Pinterest page. Participants had to simply envision their dream home and then pin it onto an online Pinterest board for a chance to win a $500 Pottery Barn gift certificate.
The campaign showed that the Pinterest world is increasing daily. It is one of the most influential social media sites and has continuously grown since it was first created in April of 2011. Today, the site has gained a network of over 25 million users with an increase of 2,702.2 percent. Additionally, Pinterest is the third most trafficked social media network in the entire U.S.

Econsultancy states that “Pinterest has gone from being the social network of choice to an essential marketing tool.” 43 percent of Pinterest and Facebook members say they use Pinterest to associate with retailers and or brands, and only 24 percent use Facebook for the same.

Pinterest is the perfect way to promote a brand with eye-catching photos and interaction that will help to engage your followers. Marketing RELEVANCE believes that the Pin-N-Win Sweepstakes is the perfect example of the real estate industry utilizing social media for branding and engagement.
